On the road with Postcard Cafe – aah, the Topolino!

This rather wonderful postcard size watercolour painting was a gift from Sheffield artist Victoria Butterell, to mark the first birthday of Postcard Cafe.

Postcard Cafe is proud to show off its new Fiat 500.  We hope that you will be inspired to take a look at more work from one of our favourite artists.

Victoria captures everyday scenes of local life in a vibrant, colourful and inspirational way. Her distinctive and uplifting style breaks from many watercolour conventions, bringing a joyful fresh perspective to familiar places.  (Alongside her portfolio of work Victoria is happy to discuss individual commissions.)

To see more of Victoria’s work please take a look at the links below.  Neowatercolour is a blog recently started by Victoria and is just taking it’s first steps into the world wide web.  Use the email subscription box to subscribe to Neowatercolour and you will be the first to receive updates every time Victoria adds new work.  The second link is a site where you can check out recent watercolours by Victoria.

If you are in Sheffield and wish to view Victoria’s work close up then take a stroll to West End Framers on Sharrow Vale Road where they stock many prints and originals all in high quality custom frames (see details below for address and telephone number).

Victoria also sells from local farmers markets and is a regular at the Netheredge market.
