A friend didn’t check out the link and hadn’t realised the subject of the photographs. They thought they were possibly fossils.
Culturally in the west we are generally very detached from nature. There are native cultures who use absolutely everything from their cows. Most people have never heard of biogas as a form of fuel.
The photographs were shot in black and white and then put through a colour filter in photoshop.
Photographically I liked the ambiguity of the images. That upon learning of the subject a viewers response might change? In that sense the images are perhaps a little provocative (or maybe not?)
I also thought this post would invite all sorts of fun comments but so far it’s been a bit quiet….
