Moore Street Electricity Substation | Sheffield

  1. These are some interesting abstracts. I think some of them might actually benefit from even heavier post processing, mainly to get heavier local and global contrast, but I suppose that isn’t quite your style?

    1. Hi Martin, Thanks for taking time to leave your comment. I’m always open to suggestions and welcome any observations or creative input. With these images I wanted them to capture the colours in the actual views and tweaking them too much lost some of the softness afforded by the glass. They may appear in another post where the images may be viewed in isolation. As you might have noticed I’m in the middle of a series of mini galleries from Moore Street Substation. It is a building that to my knowledge has never been open to the public and I took full advantage of the access when it was opened as part of Art Sheffield 2016 (See todays post 26 May). The building is Grade II listed and divides opinion amongst Sheffield folk. Best wishes, Mr C 🙂

    1. Thank you for stopping by and for taking time to leave your comments. It is sometimes tricky to evaluate your own photos and I’ve no idea if my blog reveals any particular style but enjoyed reading that you think they have a personal imprint. Thanks and best wishes, Mr C 🙂
