2016 | End of Year Round Up

A few highlights from 2016 in colour…

…and in monochrome

What a strange and unsettling year it has been.  What with the US Presidential election Brexit, too many wars and too much suffering to begin to mention.  2016 was a year when people in the US and UK voted for the sort of future they want to see.  For many the outcome of both presents a future that is worrying and uncertain.

Individually in 2017 we all need to make decisions about how we can help to make this world a better place.   If we leave it all to the politicians then we really will be up the river without a paddle!  And at this point I’ll shut up and add an unlikely musical link and let the Three Degrees do the talking HERE.  (Yes, I know, it’s the Three Degrees…!*)

Thank you to everyone who has supported, followed, “liked”, commented and generally made Postcard Cafe a friendly and rewarding place to share my photographs.

Hello and a big thank you to all the wordpress bloggers who provide me with daily inspiration through their brilliant work.

Happy New Year

Wishing you all the very best for a healthy, happy, peaceful 2017,

Best wishes from Mr Cafe

* Don’t worry, normal service will be resumed in 2017 where you can be sure the music links will be more obscure and possibly more recent!
