It turns out he is a she and she is an intrepid eco-warrior on a mission to help raise awareness of environmental concerns. The sword is her machete which she carries with her at all times and it assists her in reaching inaccessible places, helping to cut back bush and brambles 🙂 She is definitely not threatening. The real threat lies in pesticides and global warming. Bees are threatened by all sorts of human activity and without them we are all doomed…
