    1. When I saw the wheat field it gave me pause for thought and reflection on the issues we have with food shortages. Ukraine supply 9% of the worlds grain. Even if they manage to start shipping there will be problems with future farming because of mines and other weapons rendering the land unusable until it is safely cleared. Wars and extreme weather with flooding and drought in other parts of the world are creating problems on a huge scale and shortages of food are only half of the problem. The systems both political and commercial, designed, supposedly, to make this planet function equitably are failing us all.

        Canada is the 2nd largest supplier of wheat, behind… russia.
        Now, climate change is causing droughts in our wheat growing areas.
        It’s a scary time!
