Today I headed out to see if the heavy rain might inspire some interesting autumnal photography. This one turned out to be one of my favourites.
An image where many different narratives are possible. Stirring the imagination into all sorts of storytelling. It’s raining, there’s coffee, a cigarette, pink nail varnish, his and hers umbrellas, a wooden bench, an unknown view and a conversation between two people about what? They could be friends, family, strangers, old school friends, lovers, ex-lovers, on a first date, work mates or maybe neighbours! Is it a regular rendezvous, an annual pilgrimage or the last time they will see each other…
